PulsCar is operated by PulsCar, LLC (United States). These terms govern your use of the PulsCar app, web dashboard and connected services. By creating an account or plugging in a scanner you agree to them. Use PulsCar only as intended: as an informational companion to your vehicle, not as a replacement for inspection, service or your own judgement on the road.
Your membership is personal and tied to your account. You may move the scanner between vehicles you own or operate. Reselling access, reverse-engineering the device, or interfering with the service degrades it for everyone and ends the membership.
What you buy. Every membership is a single one-time payment for a fixed term — one year, two years, or the Family plan (one year, two cars) — with the scanner included. Nothing renews automatically: when the term ends, membership simply expires unless you choose to extend it.
Shipping. The scanner ships within 7 days of your order. We currently ship to the United States. You receive an order confirmation immediately and a tracking link when it ships.
Refunds. Any time before your scanner ships, you can cancel for a full refund — no questions, write to support@pulscar.io. After the scanner has shipped, contact support@pulscar.io and we will work it out with you; faulty hardware is always replaced free of charge under warranty.
Your car's data is yours. We collect telemetry to run your diagnostics, improve detection models, and nothing else. We do not sell personal data, we do not share driving behaviour with insurers or employers, and location history never leaves your account without your explicit action.
Export or permanently delete everything at any time — write to support@pulscar.io, and in-app data controls are on the way. Deletion completes within 30 days across all backups.
The scanner is read-only by design: it listens to the diagnostic bus and cannot actuate brakes, steering or throttle. All traffic is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Found a vulnerability? support@pulscar.io — reports go straight to the engineering team, and every report gets an answer.
1. What we collect. Account details (name, email), vehicle identifiers (VIN, make, model), telemetry (sensor readings, fault codes, drive events), audio you record for Sound Check, and app diagnostics.
2. How we use it. To run your diagnostics, generate forecasts, and improve detection models. Model training uses de-identified, aggregated data only.
3. What we never do. Sell personal data. Share driving behaviour with insurers, employers or advertisers. Keep data you've asked us to delete.
4. Your rights. Access, export, correct or erase your data by writing to support@pulscar.io; in-app data controls are on the way. EU/EEA residents may also contact their local supervisory authority.
5. Retention. Telemetry is kept while your account is active. Sound Check recordings are kept while your account is active and are deleted with your account.
